Magoebaskloof is known as “the Land of the Silver Mist”, with the towering Wolkberg as your backdrop, lined with pristine grasslands and the quaint village Haenertsburg at its centre. As one drops down the windy road into the Houtbosdorp bushveld, stunning views of the Kudu’s River valley and wilderness awaits. We offer trails and wilderness experiences from the Houtbosdorp Equi-Centre, providing an opportunity for our guests to re-live an era gone by from horseback or in horse-drawn carts. We also ride into the renowned Woodbush forest and on longer trails into the Wolkberg wilderness itself.
